What is it with celebrity car accidents? Following hot on the heels (make that wheels) of Shia LaBeouf’s vehicular troubles comes word that Morgan Freeman has been injured after the car he was driving in Mississippi went off the road on Sunday night.
Early reports had him grievously injured, but Variety has found that while he’s quite seriously dinged up – including a broken arm and a shoulder that will require surgery – he’s going to be fine. A woman riding in the car at the time was also hurt, and both had to be cut from the vehicle by firemen using the Jaws of Life.
We wish them both a speedy recovery. And Morgan? Next time, take the Tumbler, eh?
