It’s been a while since Naomi Watts was attached to the remake of Alfred Hitchcock’s classic The Birds, and between the strike and the movie’s slow-moving development, we haven’t heard much about it beyond the heartening word that Martin Campbell is directing.
Now out promoting Funny Games, Watts has helpfully provided an update. "It's a work-in-progress at this point," she told website Shock ‘Till You Drop. "I think it's a wonderful film. There are great things in it that interest me. The script isn't completely there yet, it probably won't happen until next year."
