The Scream franchise will be officially back in business next year, with word that Neve Campbell has agreed to join the cast and possible shooting details.
As part of a larger Variety piece about the Weinstein brothers focusing on Dimension, there's a mention of Campbell finally signing on to Scream IV alongside Courteney Cox and David Arquette.
With a script by Kevin Williamson, Wes Craven will is apparently set to start shooting what should be the first part of a new trilogy in April or May next year.
Also mentioned? Robert Rodriguez digging out the Spy Kids characters for a fourth instalment, which will shoot in March and push back Sin City 2 even future…

Terrible, terrible, terrible. It's not that much of a surprise that she's onboard seeing as her career hasn't exactly flourished since the third film. I thought Craven had more dignity than to pump out endless, pointless sequels.

I WOULD GO AND SEE ANYTHING WES DOES, AND BESIDES THE FIRST 2 WERE ACE. WITH ALL THE ORIGINAL PEOPLE ON BOARD THIS COULD BE A GREAT FUN MOVIE.
