The robo-child gets a fresh promo

The new trailer for Imagi Studios' Astro Boy is online and you can watch it below.

One of the quieter panels at Comic-Con (overshadowed by the madness that was fellow Summit release New Moon), Astro Boy nevertheless looks like a lot of fun.

Based on the classic manga and anime, the movie finds scientist Tenma grieving over the loss of his son, and creating a pinocchio-style replacement with Astro, an advanced robot.

Soon the techno-lad is learning that life isn't always easy - even if you do have machine guns in your arse (you'll have to watch the trailer for that one).

      This is clearly a kids film... Not for adults at all. so i'm not going to have a real opinion.
