A brand new featurette about the making of James Cameron's Avatar is now online and features some new footage.
Yes, while we're all waiting for the release of the new trailer online (in a few hours folks - we'll have it up for you), this little bonus should be enough to tide you over.
It's mostly just Cameron and his cast and crew talking about getting to make the movie and some of the experience, though when Sam Worthington makes reference to "Planet Jim", we can't help but wonder if it's a place where God is a shouty perfectionist and everyone has to work until they drop…
Take a look at the featurette below and let us know what you think…

Now thats a bit more like it.....looking a bit less plastic-ey....kinda bringing some of the anticipation back after the first trailer disappointment...

I was hugely disappointed with the teaser -- then I saw 20 mins footage in 3D and I was sold (on it's promise, at least). My faith is with JC ;-D and the new trailer and featurette have left me excited about this film once again. Go Jim!
