A new banner for The Avengers has arrived online, showcasing the superhero team’s premium assets: namely Captain America, Bruce Banner (AKA Hulk), Iron Man and Thor.
To be fair, they look pretty nifty standing behind a cut-out of The Avengers’ ‘A’ logo, though they all have that slightly disconcerting Photoshop sheen.
Check out the banner (which we’ve also split into individual characters so you can see them up close) below:
The Avengers opens on 27 April 2012, which really doesn’t sound like long away now…

Is it me or is that reeeeeeeeeeally bad photoshopping of heads onto Iron Man and Thor's body?

Still not convinced about Ruffalo. Thor's pic looks good, the other are a bit off- Caps is strange especially with the pose, Banner just doesn't look like the last 2 or any more recent hulks, and I'm still unsure if RDJ is photoshopped on- I'd be okay if they used the helmet.

The repeated shape is a bit of an eye-f@ck but then it is the logo...The fact that it's coming out on my birthday just makes me MORE excited for the film. (It's also good to see that the sleeves are back on Thor's 'fit as well!)

There is one for Hawkeye which is the standard shot of him behind the same logo. Really looking forward to this, think it might just be big dumb fun.
