New Chronicles Of Riddick resumes filming

Cash flow problems sorted

Vin Diesel will be returning to the set of the new The Chronicles Of Riddick franchise after production was shut down last month.

Filming was cancelled due to financial problems said to be from unpaid studio bills, which have now been paid.

Vin Diesel will be reprising his role as Richard B. Riddick for the first time since 2004's The Chronicals Of Riddick.

The series follows Richard B. Riddick, who is an escaped convict with excellent fighting skills and the ability to see in the dark.

The latest film, titled The Chronicles of Riddick: Dead Man Stalking, will continue shooting on 28 December.

It is to be written and directed by David Twohy who has directed the previous Riddick films.

Will you be watching the latest instalment of the Riddick franchise? What are your thoughts?

I'm up for this but 'dead man stalking' is just awful.

Can't wait. This is what fun we go to the movies for! Loved the first and loved most elements of the second, especially the different worlds. Even my dad really enjoyed 'Chronicles' and it's hard to get him to watch a film in the first place. Vin's and Twohy's passion persisted and we can finally see it.
