Frankenweenie has released a new clip in which Martin Landau's teacher, Mr. Rzykruski, gives his science class a quick lesson in the terrible power of electricity.
Channeling Vincent Price at his most manic, Mr. Rzykruski gets quite wrapped up in his theme, terrifying his shell-shocked class with a chalk illustration of what happens to somebody when they're struck by lightning.
However, one little boy is listening extremely keenly, as the first seeds of an idea begin to embed themselves in his mind. There's trouble afoot. Trouble, we tells ya!

The film will see young Victor apply his newfound scientific knowledge to the case of his dead dog Sparky, who soon comes bounding back to life thanks to a couple of electrodes and a particularly violent storm. Naturally however, it's a resurrection that's not without consequences…
Boasting the vocal talents of Winona Ryder, Martin Short, Christopher Lee and Catherine O'Hara, Frankenweenie opens in the UK on 17 October 2012.
