Warner Bros has released a new image from The Dark Knight Rises which gives some idea of the kind of rough and tumble lifestyle Tom Hardy’s Bane has been living over the years.
The image shows Hardy facing away from the camera, minus his face mask, and with a grotesque scar running from his neck to his upper back. There’s also some heavy scarring on his shaven head as well, for anyone doubting Bane’s badass credentials.
Presumably, the neck scar is linked to the painkilling apparatus worn by the man-mountain, hinting at some form of spinal injury suffered in the past.
In any case, it only serves to enhance Nolan’s claims that Bane will provide the kind of physical threat that Batman has yet to encounter thoughout the first two films of the trilogy.
The Dark Knight Rises opens in the UK on 20 July 2012. Although we’d imagine that date is somewhat burned into your brains by now…

Hmm acne on his back, a very common side affect of Dianabol!

Guess Bane's on the steroids too. I'm sure he got a proper prescription though.

This isn't and official picture, this is a set photo I saw months ago. Why would Bane be walking round casually with a white shirt on his back, back acne that and tattoos that are tom hardys not bane's and no mask that keeps him alive, plus if you looked the scars on his back when he he's in the suit, it's linked to his mask. This is Tom hardy on a break All I know is this is poor reporting, And Not A Official picture. I wouldn't go to movie web for your sources.

It's a set photo and it's not official. And it's from like October last year.

I'll always support Tom Hardy, but with an extensive background in professional training, that's 'roids. Can't blame him though, what the studios ask for isn't achievable otherwise, not in their timeframes anyway.
