Hot on the heels of footage screened at the 2008 Scream Awards, the first full-length trailer for Friday The 13th has arrived online.
All together now: chu-ha-ha-ha-haha… Yes, the familiar sound of Jason Voorhees is back in this new trailer for the remake of the original Friday The 13th.
Fans are already upset at the idea of revisiting Camp Crystal Lake and introducing Jason Voorhees into the story before he ever actually appeared in the original.
Bigger, Faster, Stronger
And some are also up in arms at the speed with which this pumped up, re-imagined version of the masked killer moves.
While we’re worried about another remake, who has had some mixed success in his films (Texas Chainsaw revamp not bad, Pathfinder abysmal), the trailer is certainly atmospheric.
Let’s see if it can overcome the stacked deck of expectation – but even if it does, please stop anyone making anything as awful as The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning. We’re shuddering just thinking about it.

lets hope micheal bay dosent over do it....like he does with everyting else looks hot though!
