It takes very little to make us excited about Batman Begins follow-up The Dark Knight, so we’re happy to leap on any small extra nugget.
And from the looks of it, the direct-to-DVD animated series Batman: Gotham Knight looks like it’ll hit our pleasure centres in exactly the right way.
With the likes of A History Of Violence’s Josh Olsen and Begins co-scribe David Goyer, the anime-flavoured mini-movies will bridge the gap between the two movies and allow for plenty of extra villains to crop up.
Now there are new pictures in the wild, so head on over and start wishing that The Dark Knight’s release wasn’t so many months away…
