Gravity has released a new featurette online, exploring the extensive use of 3D in Alfonso Cuarón’s space-set thriller.
The 3D in the film has already been widely praised from those who have seen the film, with the IMAX 3D version said to be a truly overwhelming experience.
The featurette explains how the use of 3D was designed to make Gravity more immersive for the audience, with the whole thing described as an “experience” as much as a film.
Take a look at the new featurette, below:
If you thought the disaster sequence in which Sandra Bullock’s astronaut finds herself perilously unmoored from her shuttle was terrifying in a little window on your laptop, wait until you see it in all its IMAX 3D glory…
Directed by Cuarón and co-starring George Clooney, Gravity will open in the UK on 8 November 2013.
