Following hot on the heels of the explosive unveiling of the first trailer for Kick-Ass 2, Universal has released a new batch of stills and a brand new poster for the upcoming sequel.
The new images give us a fresh look at some of the returning characters, while also giving a due amount of the spotlight to Jim Carrey’s grotesque Colonel Stars and Stripes.
There’s also a new poster to take a gander at, featuring the twin masks of Kick-Ass and Hit-Girl. Nothing new there, but still worth a look.
Directed by Jeff Wadlow and co-starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Chloe Moretz, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Jim Carrey, Kick-Ass 2 will open in the UK on 19 July 2013.
