New look at the Amazing Spider-Man 2 costume

What will Peter Parker be donning in the sequel?

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 has revealed a first glimpse of Spidey’s new threads.

In a clear nod to comic-book series Ultimate Spider-Man, the most obvious difference that you’ll notice is that the eyes are bigger. Much bigger.

With director Marc Webb chucking out clues left, right and centre, TAS-M2 could turn out to be the antitdote to J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek super-secrecy.

And it could just be the lighting, but the webbed costumed has a brighter primary hue to it in this shot, and the spider-logo appears to have had a revamp.

Here’s hoping the Webb reveals some stills of new baddies Jamie Foxx (Electro) and Paul Giamatti (Rhino, possibly) soon.

Starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone and Shailene Woodley, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is set to open in the UK on 18 April 2014.

Really. This Spiderman sucked. I prefer the original trilogy.

Pretty much the same as Tobey Maguire's suit.

Is it 'The Amazing Spiderman 2'? - I thought it was going to be 'The Spectacular Spiderman'

SiMan - no, they're saving that for the reboot in three years' time.

So glad. The costume was one of the worst aspects of "The Amazing Spider-Man", so it's nice that Marc Webb accepted the feedback. I think this costume honestly looks better than the Raimi one!

What a let down the new film was, there wasn't much wrong with the Sam Raimi film's apart from the third one and if Venom is going to be in this Spiderman Franchise he SHOULD BE BIG, SCARY AND BADASS!
