New red-band trailer for Magic Mike: watch now

Contains copious amounts of flesh...

Magic Mike has released a new red-band teaser trailer that’s definitely NSFW, unless your boss doesn’t mind seeing acres of glistening man-flesh slapped all over your monitor.

Steven Soderbergh’s film attempts to lift the lid on the world of male stripping, with Channing Tatum starring as the old hand (the film is based on his own experiences in the biz) who takes Alex Pettyfer’s newcomer under his wing.

There’s no full-frontal showstoppers on show here, but there are plenty of naked backsides and greased abs to get at least one section of the target audience into a bit of a tizz. And needless to say, Matthew McConaughey only appears with his shirt off.

Take a look at the new teaser, below...

It’s a significantly fleshier look at the film than in previous trailer, although given the subject matter, that’s probably to be expected. The only question that remains is why poor old Matt Bomer’s introduction shows him with his shirt on? Not enough time in the gym? We shall see...

Magic Mike opens in the UK on 11 July 2012. Expect a certain degree of squealing in the aisles...

How is a comedy about male strippers ever going to compete against TDKR? It isn't. It's not meant to, and it won't.

I heard an early - admittedly embargo breaking - review of this film that said it's going to be excellent. Could it be true... It IS Steven Soderbergh.

Dalidab could unite all the deviant potato men of the UK and turn this film into a box office juggernaut...

So I can't see a comedy by a director I like, starring an actor I like, that looks funny? Thanks for that, you bigoted straight-hating freak. Why the hell are you calling us bent? You're using an offensive term about gay people, against straight guys... what? The mind actually boggles.

Bent retarded smokers? Swishers? I'm confused as to what you called me. I don't think I'm any of those things.

I think we've come full circle and are being called homophobic insults by a gay psychopath.
