The Five-Year Engagement has released a new red-band trailer featuring Jason Segel and Emily Blunt adding a healthy dose of puerile humour to the cutesy rom-com routine.
Segel and Blunt play an engaged couple who can't seem to actually make their way down the aisle. Just as their wedding finally begins to loom on the horizon, Blunt gets a new job in a new city and the nuptuals are postponed yet again.
Initially, Segel is happy to go along with their relocation, but it isn't long before resentment begins to simmer, and questions are asked as to whether the pair will ever manage to tie the knot.
Take a look at the new trailer below…
Pleasingly, Blunt and Segel make for a genuinely engaging (excuse the pun) couple, with Segel and co-writer / director Nicholas Stoller looking to have created a similar vibe to the one they achieved with Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
Co-starring Chris Pratt, Alison Brie and Jacki Weaver, The Five-Year Engagement opens in the UK on 22 June 2012. Kristen Bell, Mila Kunis, Emily Blunt… Jason Segel certainly knows how to write himself a part, doesn't he?
