As the fight to become this summer’s box office champ heats up, two of the major contenders have thrown some new footage on the Internet to tempt us all into buying tickets.
First up, Shrek The Third has an extended trailer online, featuring the first proper appearance of Justin Timberlake’s Artie, the boy who-doesn’t-want-to-be-king. And there’s more from the princesses who help Fiona out when Prince Charming recruits his own army to take over Far, Far Away. It’s more of the same that we’ve all come to expect from the Shrek franchise, and fans should be happy. You can see the trailer by clicking here.
Also arriving are some new clips from Spider-Man 3, interspersed with Sam Raimi and his cast chatting up the film. There’s not an awful lot that’s fresh here – as surely everyone except the most spoiler-phobic among us will know that the plot finds Peter Parker’s life going to hell once more. So a warning - if you’re trying to stay pure and clear, don’t watch it. But if you absolutely, positively have to see every little web nugget out there, click here.
