Star Trek 2 might want to tighten up its set restrictions after a new video was released online hot on the heels of the recent on-set images that were leaked earlier this week.
The new video was taken at the same time as the aforementioned snaps, and shows Zachary Quinto and Benedict Cumberbatch throwing a few punches and generally getting their grapple on.
Check out the latest footage below (and our apologies in advance for the ear-bleedingly awful voiceover)…
Wow, that guy’s not irritating at all, is he? As we said, the footage covers much of the same ground as the stills we saw earlier in the week, but it’s still pretty neat to see Quinto and Cumberbatch going at it on-screen.
It definitely seems like Spock is on the losing end of this particular skirmish, at least until Uhura shows up to redress the balance… Star Trek 2 will open in the UK on 17 May 2013.

Based on the thousands of Cumberbatch fans salivating on tumblr about this video right at this moment I'd say they are very turned on indeed by seeing him do action scenes. He looks fantastic.

When Daniel Craig leaves Bond (hopefully after skyfall) I hope Cumberbatch takes over. He's more versatile than Craig and now watching him do action scenes so easily I'd say he's the man for the job.

I honestly believe that is the end of the film and BC's character falls from a great height. I still think he's Gary Seven as the Vulcan grip had no effect. He's a brilliant actor, but I can't see him as Bond.

Why does that voiceover bloke sound like he's got cottonmouth as well as having a stroke? Poor guy.
