New trailer for G.I. Joe: Retaliation: watch now

And it’s full of new footage

The new trailer for G.I. Joe: Retaliation has landed online, featuring more explosions, wisecracks and Channing Tatum than ever before.

Having initially been slated to arrive last summer, the film was shunted back until 2013 on account of some extensive reshoots, as well as the studio’s decision to implement post-production 3D.

The beefing-up of Tatum’s role was thought to be one of the key motivations behind said reshoots, and there are a few new snippets of him in this latest trailer.

Take a look, below…

We already knew that Dwayne Johnson and Bruce Willis look badass when toting a big old assault rifle, but what looks more impressive is the scene of widespread destruction which has central London razed to a head of smouldering rubble.

Directed by Jon Chu and co-starring Adrianne Palicki, Jonathan Pryce and Ray Park, G.I. Joe: Retaliation opens in the UK on 27 March 2013.

What do you think of the new trailer? Tell us, below!

The teaser made me think that this movie could be better than the first. But this trailer, in my eyes shows me that it may not be as much of an improvement after all - they destroyed Paris (Eiffel Tower) and now it's London, not too original to me. But then again, it could just be that the trailer itself sucks. Maybe it's the awful song they use too. Or maybe it just isn't my cup of tea. Anyway, we'll see.

I was looking forward to the movie when it was originally scheduled for June but now with the year delay I am worried.

Looks like enjoyable pap, the sort of film where your watching and not thinking, a guilty pleasure so to speak. I like these types of films because you know that the action is ramped up to 11 and there is literally 0 plotline. Love it ;p
