New TV spot for Les Les Misérables: watch now

Including plenty of new footage

Les Misérables has released a new TV spot chock-full of sparkly new footage, soundtracked once more by Anne Hathaway's rendition of I Dreamed A Dream.

As in the first trailer, the action is accompanied by the remarkably dulcet tones of Ms. Hathaway as heroine Fantine, although many of the scenes are brand new.

Russell Crowe, Hugh Jackman and Eddie Redmayne all look suitably swoonsome, while Amanda Seyfried also gets a brief look-in as Hathaway's daughter, Cosette.

Take a look at the new trailer, below…

Still no sign of Sacha Baron Cohen and Helena Bonham Carter, both of whom are set to appear in relatively major roles, although perhaps they're being held back for the next full-length trailer.

Directed by Tom Hooper and co-starring Samantha Barks and Colm Wilkinson, Les Miserables opens on 11 January 2013.
