New TV spot for The Dark Knight Rises: watch now

"You're not Batman anymore"

The Dark Knight Rises has released a third TV spot featuring a couple of new snippets of footage, including a beseeching Alfred attempting to convince Bruce Wayne not to return to the cape and cowl.

"You're not Batman anymore," he argues, in a scene that presumably precedes his tearful refusal to bury a third member of the Wayne family. He certainly seems aware of the threat posed by Bane to the master of Wayne Manor.

Elsewhere, there's another look at the plane-set opening sequence, and plenty of wholesome explodiness featuring the Batwing (or whatever Chris Nolan is calling it) and a whole host of tumblers.

Check out the new trailer, below…

There's not quite as much new stuff on show here as there was in the previous two spots, but that's probably a good thing. After all, we don't want to learn all of Nolan's secrets before making our return to Gotham for the final time.

The Dark Knight Rises opens in the UK on 20 July 2012. Not long until the legend ends, once and for all…

What do you make of the new teaser? Tell us, below...

I think the tv spot gets better after all the talking, that sound getter louder and louder adds more atmosphere to the trailer
