New TV spot for The Dark Knight Rises: watch now

"Nothing like a little air of superiority"

The Dark Knight Rises has released a new TV spot (yes, another one) online, featuring a couple of new snippets of dialogue among the familiar crash-bang-wallop of Bane's appetite for destruction.

The latest spot puts the focus on Bruce Wayne's relationship with his two closest confidantes, Alfred and Lucius Fox. It's the latter who gets a couple of additional lines, attempting to pique Bruce's interest by showing him the latest developments from Wayne Industries.

That said, Alfred also gets some new dialogue, querying whether Bruce is really ready to go back into the fray after so long out of the game. The film is set eight years after the events of The Dark Knight, after all.

Take a look at the new clip, below…

Fortunately, despite the masses and masses of TV spots hitting our screens (and we're really hoping that will be the last of them, now), we still don't feel as though anything too crucial has been given away, with key plot points kept under wraps in favour of mood-setting and comic relief.

There's not long to go now, anyway, with The Dark Knight Rises opening in UK cinemas on 20 July 2012. In the meantime, a cool new viral poster has been released for the film, which you can check out below. No spoilers there either!

There has been a heck of a lot of tv spots and trailers released already, but you're right in saying that it doesn't feel like any of the major plotlines have been revealed. Is Liam Neeson returning as Rhas in some capacity? if so, what? Who does Bane work for? Is Talia Al Ghul set to make an appearance? So many questions and i want to find out the answers when i watch the film - not a week beforehand. I hope no more footage is released (although, as i've already watched a bootleg version of the opening 6 minute scene, i'll happily watch that again in HD!) - roll on 20th July!!!

I think I would have one on behalf of you grammar! I really hope Bane likes gun's, too much has been made of the fact Wayne doesn’t? his parents died in a gun related crime, scarecrow used fear gas, the joker knives and now it looks like Bane just blow sh*t up and beat down the bat, but really look at Bale's face when Falcone brings out the gun in Begins! Fear
