The World’s End has released a brand new TV spot online, featuring a couple of new snippets of footage from the concluding part of Edgar Wright’s Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy.
The new film sees Simon Pegg leading a band of (slightly unwilling) middle-aged mates through a legendary pub-crawl in their home town, in a desperate attempt to recapture the glory days of his youth.
However, all is not as they remember in their sleepy old village, as this new spot makes explicitly clear. If you’ve managed to avoid the big reveal so far, it’s best given a wide berth…
Take a look at the new spot, below:
A few new glimpses of Pegg’s foes to be enjoyed there, including one particularly worrying woman, who appears to be sporting a pair of legs where her arms should be. Perhaps the manufacturers had run out of parts…
Directed by Wright and co-starring Nick Frost, Paddy Considine and Rosamund Pike, The World’s End will open in the UK on 19 July 2013.
