According to insider gossip, Warner Brothers are not only hearing pitches from writers for the next Superman flick, they've already made a key decision.
Lex Luthor will not be the main baddie - WB execs want to pluck a super-cool supervillain from Supes' rogues gallery.
Which is exciting news. As much as we liked Kevin Spacey in Superman Returns, we'd much rather see a super-powered scrap between Supes and Doomsday (who you can see in the gallery to your right), Darkseid or a young General Zod.
Or, you know, all three. That would pretty much be the best film ever.
But which villain would you like to see Superman punch in the face? Tell us below!

Doing Doomsday could run the risk of feeling a little hollow and Hulk-esque. Keeping the villains more realistic like Batman would probably be the best way to go, Zod would be good, a kind of anti Superman.
What about a Joker-esque Mr. Mxyzptlk to mess with Superman mentally? Verne Troyer capitalizing on Celebrity BB fame? lol

Just do the villians in moderation, they ruined the 3rd spiderman. It had soooo much potential ..Sandman was ok..The Alien suit was awesome in the books...But something was off..too short a movie maybe. The plot was cramped.
I wouldn't mind seeing an updated version of the 3 villians from S-man 2...ZOD, NON, etc...
How cool would Bizarro be? I hear he may possibly appear. I just want to see his planet. Im glad they nixed Lex, "Im sick of the same ole villian"
Lets just hope the phantom zone is a no CGI zone.

i agree with niannah no big monster the confrontation between supes and doomsday, darkseid and brainiac is good and has been done in the cartoons enough already need something new not so big yet provided superman with a good match so we must browse the comics and have a look.
