In 1973, Robin Hardy made a cult movie about, well, a cult. Edward Woodward, Christopher Lee and Britt Ekland. The Wicker Man was shocking, scary and totally fantastic… so of course, Hollywood have to re-hash it.
You’ve all known Nicolas Cage’s Wicker remake was slowly making its way around the bend and now the trailer has arrived, we can get a glance at how it's shaping up.
Never ones to judge before we get a full and proper look, all we can say is that helmer Neil LaBute, plus Cage – along with his supporting stars Ellen Burstyn and Molly Parker (Deadwood) - certainly give 100% into scaring the danglies off the audience.
Cage plays a cop who is trying to track down a missing girl on a small island that is loaded with secretive and suspicious characters.
