While we know that Freddie Highmore will be lending his pipes as the lead character in Imagi Studios’ new CG ‘toon based on the old Astro Boy series, the producers have now announced the rest of the vocal talent stepping up to the microphone.
Nic Cage, Donald Sutherland, Eugene Levy, Nathan Lane and Bill Nighy will all snatch tonsil-powered roles in the story of a young robot created by a scientist to replace his lost son. But when he can’t meet his father’s expectations, our hero embarks on a journey that sees him save his city. The Hollywood Reporter is listening in.
