A bloodless but by no means anaemic new teaser trailer for David Fincher’s The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo has been released online.
After the leak of the film’s red band first teaser over the weekend, this new, official teaser is basically exactly the same, just minus a few shots of Daniel Craig covered in blood.
For those who still haven’t gotten acquainted with the titular tattooed girl, she’s Lisbeth Salander (Rooney Mara), and is a computer hacker who ends up helping journalist Mikael Blomkvist (Craig) as he invstigates the disappearance of a young woman years ago.
Check out the teaser below...
The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo opens 26 December.

This is visual art. Love the typography too. Looks very much like the genius of Kyle Cooper.

Still nothing. This feels as pointless as the Psycho do-over.

As someone who hasn't read the books and really I have to say that is the worst type of trailer. Apart from the headache the constant flipping of images to the beat of the music gave me, it also gave zero information on the film. I have no idea what it is about from that trailer. Certainly wouldn't make me curious about the film. Totally forgettable.

Yeah, yeah, still awesome. But this teaser looks like those a-film-in-30-seconds-videos on youtube and I'm a bit worried full trailer will give away to much, as trailers nowadays do.

Dalidab why did you copy and paste your replies to me and Dan from another news item? They removed the sex scene and the suggestive 'she's coming' from the end too... the prudes! lol.

The only thing I don't like about this trailer is the rape of Led Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song"... hey, call me old-fashioned, but I like the orignal far better...
