Orlando Bloom gets An Education

After spending months sailing the high seas for the Pirates Of The Caribbean sequels, Orlando Bloom must be looking forward to getting back to dry land – and indie filmmaking land, at that.
He’s joined the cast of Lone Scherfig’s An Education, the coming-of-age drama set against the backdrop of swinging ‘60s London, which already stars Peter Sarsgaard, Rosamund Pike, Emma Thompson and Carey Mulligan. And that’s not all – the cast is swelling still, with Alfred Molina and Sally Hawkins also jumping on board.
Variety has all the details, including the fact that Nick Hornby wrote the adapted the script and it’ll shoot next month.
