Anthony Mackie’s co-starring in the indie thriller

Paul Giamatti and Eagle Eye’s Anthony Mackie have signed on to co-star in Andres Baiz’ new indie thriller Babylon.
The plot, reports Variety, finds a British minister (Giamatti) and a Jamaican Rasta (Mackie) trying to outrun gangsters while keeping a 12-year-old boy safe.
Ian Stone has penned the script for the movie, which will start shooting in January. Where? You guessed it: Clacton. Okay, Jamaica.

Giamatti, meanwhile, is getting more into producing, bringing his first produced film, Touchy Feely, to this year’s Sundance Festival.
