Paul Verhoeven considers a new erotic thriller
He may direct an untitled Wendy Miler script

Looks like Paul Verhoeven wants to turn up the heat again on-screen, as he’s pondering directing an untitled erotic thriller penned by newcomer Wendy Miller.
The plot of the movie is essentially a blend of Risky Business and Fatal Attraction, reports Variety, as a college intern finds himself trapped in a dangerous affair with his boss’s wife.
Producer Michael De Luca is hoping Verhoeven will commit despite the director’s packed development plate, as he wants the movie shooting early next year. Miller is apparently re-writing the script according to Verhoeven’s notes.
But for all those trying to point to this as his “return” to erotic thrillers, we say: did you not see Black Book?
