Busy browsing scripts to find his next project, director Phillip Noyce is pondering one of DreamWorks’ in-development movies: he’s in talks to direct The Art Of Making Money, the real-life tale of faker Art Williams.
Not only did he manage to print more than $10 million in fake dosh, but Williams also managed to keep churning out the dodgy dollars even after the FBI nabbed him. He’s been shut down for good last year though, as he got a seven-year prison sentence.
Sounds like the makings of a fun flick and Noyce certainly knows how to direct crime pics. The Hollywood Reporter is printing money for the tale.
