Fans of big-budget, epically romantic historical movies will no doubt be happy that not only is Baz Luhrmann back, but Hilary Swank is hard at work on a sweeping awards-aimed period film of her own.
Luhrmann has already been stumping for Australia, which stars Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman, via podcasts. But he brought in some big guns by having Vanity Fair snapper Annie Leibovitz shoot some stills of his sexy cast. You can peep them here.
Swank, meanwhile, is shooting Amelia, the story of legendary flier Amelia Earhart, still best known for vanishing without trace. Mira Nair’s behind the camera and you can see some fresh imagery here.
