Queen Latifah has signed up to star in Just Wright, a new romantic comedy for Fox Searchlight.
It’s apparently a modern-day take on Cinderella – yes, another one – in which a physical therapist falls for the basketball player she’s nursing back to health.
There's no director or other cast on board yet, but the company wants this shooting by May.
We’re not sure about this one – it originated at Disney six whole years ago, but sat on the shelf and then shoved into turnaround until Searchlight nabbed it.
Hate to say it, but maybe there’s a reason it hasn’t been made yet…
