Quentin Tarantino says his next film will be a western

But not a sequel to Django Unchained

Quentin Tarantino has been discussing his next project, and has revealed that he would like to make another western, although not a sequel to Django Unchained.

“I haven’t told anyone this publicly,” said Tarntino during an interview on The Tonight Show, “but I will say the genre: It’s a western.

“I had so much fun doing Django, and I love westerns so much that after I taught myself how to make one, it’s like, ‘OK! Let me make another one now that I know what I’m doing,’”

Tarantino wouldn’t reveal any details beyond that, suffice to say that the film would not serve as a sequel to Django Unchained.

The director often teases ideas he currently has knocking around on the back burner, but it sounds as though he has a concrete plan for the next film. Watch this space…

Just take my money already. Django IMO is QT's 3rd best movie.

I'm in too. However, I'd love for QT to keep testing out different genres. A QT movie in space would be awesome.

Apo - same here I'd love to see QT's take on the Sci-Fi genre.
