As you might have already noticed, Quentin Tarantino is often fond of talking up his future projects, no matter how far along the development process they are. However, he has recently spoken out to put one of those prospective projects to bed.
Tarantino had long mooted the possibility of Kill Bill Vol. 3, even going so far as to say it would focus on the daughter of Vivacia A. Fox’s character growing up to take her revenge upon the Bride.
However, QT looks to have given up on that dream, conceding that, “I don’t know if there’s ever going to be a Kill Bill Vol. 3. We’ll see, probably not though.” Which for Tarantino, is pretty much as definitive as you’ll get.
Anyone waiting for him to take the reins over a Bond film is also likely to be waiting a long time. Tarantino revealed that he was interested in making Casino Royale, but says the producers, “missed their opportunity”. So that’s that.
In the meantime, we do still have Django Unchained to look forward to, with that film opening in the UK on 18 January 2013. So it’s not all doom and gloom for Tarantino fans…

The only revisit I would like Tarantino to make is 'The Vega Brothers' - the film about Vic Vega, from Reservoir Dogs (Michael Madsen), and his brother (in Tarantinoworld) Vincent Vega from Pulp Fiction (John Travolta). The actors are maybe a bit too old, or maybe not, but that's the 'sequel' we'd all love. The Kill BIll films started a very poor period for QT that ended somewhat with Inglourious Basterds and I think it's wise that he not go back there.

I'm glad he's no longer interested in directing a Bond movie. I just dont think he would be a good fit for Bond.

Just the title alone would make no sense since she already killed Bill!

@MrDynamite Kill Bill Vol 1 is incredible, as is Inglorious Basterds. Death Proof was a good experiment, and he gets a lot of stick for staying within certain boundaries on that one which was the entire point. Kill Bill Vol 2 was really good, but not his best. Still, it hasn't been a poor time for QT, in fact Kill Bill Vol 1 is up there with his best. Still, I'd like to see Kill Bill Vol 3 (or a spin off from that world) but I'd rather see him tackle new things. Same with the Vega Bros film. I like the idea, but new things are better. Like Django. Can't wait for that! Although, I would love QT to take on the next Bond.

I don't want him to do a Bond film. It'd be awful. Plus he's American for Pete's sake.

Come on, who wouldn't love Samual L Jackson cast as Q. "Pay attention Bond. Walter PPK, when you positively have to kill every last mudda fudda in the room, accept no substitute".

I actually cannot remember the last time that Quentin Tarantino said something that I could give a monkey's about. Nothing against his movie output, but the whole zeitgeist that surrounded him is now redundant. So, the Bond producers 'missed their opportunity'? Yes, QT. Bet they are kicking themselves after the poor Box Office provided by Sam Mendes' failure of an installment. Equally, Kill Bill 3? In my opinion, I'd have left people panting for a Kill Bill 2 and then made a decent one, instead of serving up a denouement that was self absorbed, tedious and, for the most part, a pile of cack. I am not anti-QT in any way and I am looking forward to Django Unchained, but the guy really needs to remove his head from his own bottom before all the talent and sparky originality that his films used to offer disappears completely.

Kill Bill Vol 1 is one of my favorite movies from that decade, but yeah we don't need to see a Kill Bill Vol 3. It's unlikely to happen but I'd be curious to see what QT could do with Sci Fi.

QT should however at least go back and edit a special Edition Kill Bill for Blu Ray.

Mr Tarantino, please stick to directing and stop opening your gob and making yourself look a t**t! Won't do Bond, won't do Star Wars. The only thing bigger than these franchises QT is your ego. Please stop believing your own press before you disappear up your own backside.

I would love to see Kim Kardashian in a sexy remake of Faster Pussycat Kill Kill! with Tarantino directing. Sure she ain't a great actress, sure she's famous for being famous, and a sex tape with Ray J that everybody has seen. But come on, she's hot, and perhaps Tarantino could make it as good, or even better than the movie b***h Slap that had the amazing America Olivo.
