As you probably know by now, Lord Of The Rings lenser Peter Jackson isn’t returning to the Shire to direct JRR Tolkien’s LOTR prequel, The Hobbit.
According to reports, producers New Line are chasing Spider-Man helmer Sam Raimi to fill Jackson’s ample shoes.
It has been pretty much taken as read that after the promotion for Spider-Man 3 winds down in the middle of next year, Raimi will begin work on the webslinger’s fourth instalment.
