Will Brett be a Harbinger?

While reactions were mixed to Brett Ratner’s take on X-Men: The Last Stand, the box office was enough to make other studios think that he might be right for their comic book properties.

Paramount has just nabbed the rights to Valiant Comics’ Harbinger, which sees a group of kids with special powers that can be “unlocked” by Omega, or more powerful harbingers. "The movie is in the vein of a young Blade Runner, as this 17-year- old gifted kid helps other kids tap into these parts of their brains," producer Alexandra Milchan blabbed to Variety.
