Rian Johnson has been slowly leaking drips of information about his new project for a couple of months now, but the official word is out. He’ll next write and direct Looper, a twisted sci-fi tale.
The man who brought us Brick and the incoming Brothers Bloom will handle the tale of a group of hit men who receive their instructions on who to kill from the future.
There’s no word on exactly when he – and his characters – will start shooting yet, but Johnson wants to get going next year.
Looper’s concept Sounds paradox-licious to us, but if anyone can pull it off, it’s Johnson.
