Ricky Gervais has been discussing the film script he's writing with Stephen Merchant.
Currently called The Men At The Pru, the flick focuses on a gang of 20-somethings working at Prudential in the '70s.
Gervais said: "They work for the building society and they're having a great time but it's about them coming of age and having to grow up,"
So, Pru's about a group of people working menial day-jobs who have to confront the reality of their lives; not a million miles from The Office and Extras, then.
Still, the boys are doing their research: "We're really getting excited. We went down to the Prudential headquarters and got all this old footage so we're really getting into it."
