He’s helmed neo-noir in the likes of Blade Runner, but Ridley Scott’s never directed a period noir. That will change with The Kind One, which already has Casey Affleck starring.
Sir Rid has signed on to direct the movie, which will see Affleck playing an amnesiac man in the 1930s who ends up employed by the titular mobster and falling in love with his girlfriend.
