You probably know him best as the late, lamented Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter And The Goblet Of fire, but Robert Pattinson isn’t letting cinematic death haunt his career.
In fact, he’s going undead for a shot at some US exposure (you know, unlike those little-seen Potter pics). Pattinson has joined the cast of Twilight, which sees Bella (Kristen Stewart) arriving in a new town and realising that her school is full of toothy creatures. She becomes romantically involved with one of them – handsome classmate Edward (Pattinson).
Catherine Hardwicke is set to start directing the movie from Melissa Rosenberg’s script, which in turn gets its story from Stephanie Meyer’s novel.
