Should anyone be worried that gurn-master Robin Williams has forever slipped into the world of family-friendly Disney-style comedies, they just need to take a gander at the premise for the film he’s signed on to for Bobcat Goldthwaite.
In World’s Greatest Dad, Williams will play a bloke whose son dies accidentally in a freak masturbation accident. When he tried to mask his embarrassment by framing the death as suicide with a fake note, the attention it garners makes him decide to launch his writing career by publishing a fake journal. Yeah, we can see the studios rushing to lap that one up. But it’s certainly different. JoBlo has more details.
