As Sylvester Stallone continues to apply the electrodes to jumpstart his movie career, casting and production for Rocky VI – AKA Rocky Balboa – continues.
The latest addition to the cast is thesp and winning Scrabble word score Milo Ventimiglia, who will play Rocky’s adult son.
In the film’s plot, Rocky has long since retired from the ring, but is sucked back into the world of boxing for – you guessed it - one last fight. He’s facing a powerful new champion, some personal demons and a little family tragedy.
And Sly might have to deal with a little family problem himself after this announcement. His real-life son, Sage Stallone, played Rocky’s son in the fifth instalment of the franchise and yet is Sir Not Appearing In This Film for the sixth.
Shooting kicks off next month in Los Angeles and Philadelphia.
