Romero would tackle Tarzan

It’s a dream project for him...

Legendary horror overlord George A Romero has been out pounding the press tour for his latest zombie outing, Diary Of The Dead.

But while sitting down to talk with Entertainment Weekly, the director revealed that he’d like a shot at an altogether different genre. “The movie I’ve wanted to do ever since I was a kid, don’t ask me why, is Tarzan,” he told the magazine. “So if somebody came along and said, we're going to give you a bunch of money to go make Tarzan, I would immediately say yes. But then they probably wouldn't want me to do the real Edgar Rice Burroughs version.”
