Rumour: Batman v. Superman will boast four villains besides Lex Luthor

Film set to plunder rogues gallery

With Batman v. Superman already boasting a host of heroes, it makes sense that should be plenty of villains to counter balance them, with Latino Review reporting there will be as many as four antagonists lining up alongside Lex Luthor.

First up will apparently be Gotham villain, Victor Zsaz, the knife-wielding mass-murderer who carves a scar on his body for each of his victims. Nice chap.

He'll also be joined by Luthor underling Morgan Edge, and David Cain, a fiftysomething assassin who also finds himself in Luthor's employ. No prizes for guessing who his target will be…

Finally, the report claims that Senator Amanda Waller will be making an appearance, regarding Superman as a serious threat to her power, and planning a counter measure to take him out of the picture. Boooo!

None of these have been confirmed by Warner, of course, but they certainly make good grist for the rumour mill. Directed by Zack Snyder, Batman v. Superman: Dawn Of Justice will open in the UK on 29 April 2016.

What do you think of the new villains mentioned? Tell us, below!

well, from what you've typed above there'll be two villians plus two henchmen. That's cool, Zsaz is a terrific character.

On the other hand, remember the excellent Watchmen. If anyone can put an ensemble piece together Zack Snyder can. For me, he nailed Watchmen.

I agree with pdanyluk. Watchmen was fantastic, and all the more so because of the balance of so many characters.

Bring back Tim Booth from James as Zsaz.

I agree with both pdanyluk and Quietlife, Watchmen is one of modern cinema's underrated films. Man of Steel had flaws but it wasn't terrible. I feel as though Synyder is cramming a lot of characters I to this film, but as mentioned above, he can do movies that include an ensemble cast.

Remember DOFTP and its multiple characters, that turned out fine. Besides I am not going to believe any more rumors until I hear Snyder confirming them.

Where have all the naysayers gone, or are they now starting to eat their words? This just seems toget better with every reveal DC make. This film is going to break some heavy duty box office records.
