We file the most suspicious stories under 'Rumour Control' but this one stretches the boundaries of even that concept. Still, it is interesting, and gossip is what Al Gore invented the internet for, so here goes...
According to Cinema Blend, Michael Rosenbaum has been spotted doing lunch with Michael Bay. So, obviously, they've decided the boys were there to discuss Rosenbaum donning the brown fedora to play Freddy in Bay's A Nightmare On Elm Street remake.
We're not sure what evidence they've got for this - aside from the fact both blokes are bald - but the conjecture still makes for a good read, if you want to follow the link to the original story.
