Rumour Control: Guy Pearce on The Road?
And Robert Duvall might be getting apocalyptic too...

While nothing official has been announced, we won’t be surprised if Guy Pearce joins the adaptation of Cormac McCarthy’s post-apocalyptic tale The Road – especially as the man behind The Road is John Hillcoat, who worked with Pearce on The Proposition.
But it’s not just the Memento man signing up – fellow Aussie Kodi Smit-McPhee has also apparently joined the movie, alongside Robert Duvall.
They’ll be appearing with Viggo Mortensen and Charlize Theron in the story of a man and his son struggling to survive in the chaos of a shattered Earth. Bloody Disgusting has all the details.
