Word on a new Jack Ryan film just in. Likely to be another Harrison Ford/Alec Baldwin-free tale of young Jack (as in The Sum Of All Fears), following rumours that none other than Ryan Gosling would be shouldering the role in a film currently titled By Any Means Necessary.
Now Moviehole.net is also reporting that Paramount may be closing in on a director. And it’s the man who brought the world City Of God and The Constant Gardener, Fernando Meirelles.
He’s not even close to signed yet, but if anyone can bring a jittery, yet realistic feel to Ryan’s adventures, it’s Meirelles.
