Rumour Control: Will Destro go West?
300’s Dominic may join GI Joe

While Stephen Sommers’ adapatation of toy line ‘toon GI Joe has been gathering heroes at a rapid pace (Sienna Miller, Sam Worthington, Rachel Nichols and Ray Park are all enlisted), the villainous side of the movie is sadly understaffed.
But that might be about to change as Latino Review has word of a name in contention: Dominic West. If their sources are to be believed, he’s close to signing on as Destro, an arms dealer who helps COBRA command take on our heroes. He also stands out from the crowd thanks to his trademark silver battle mask.
Best known as drunken-yet-noble cop Jimmy McNulty on ace US TV cop show The Wire (which has just launched its fifth and – sob! – final season Stateside), West was also most recently seen as a baddie in 300.
