Yesterday it was reported that Tom Cruise was jumping ship from presidential thriller The 28th Amendment to develop and star in spy drama Edwin A Salt with Phillip Noyce at the helm.
Moviehole decided to do a little digging into likely replacements and discovered that the production’s runner-up choice was Batman himself, Christian Bale. While he’s busy helping save humanity in Terminator: Salvation, he might be tempted to squeeze this one into his schedule and play a newly elected president who discovers that the power really does lie with a shadowy cabal.
